On June 26, SMM battery-grade nickel sulphate index price was 28,646 yuan/mt, down 372 yuan/mt from the previous working day.

On June 26, SMM battery-grade nickel sulphate index price was 28,646 yuan/mt, down 372 yuan/mt from the previous working day. The battery-grade nickel sulphate prices were 28,500-29,000 yuan/mt, with the average price down 250 yuan/mt from the previous working day. The continuously faltering downstream demand and low nickel prices caused nickel sulphate manufacturers to make greater concessions on prices, resulting in a rapid synchronous decline in both discount coefficients and prices. This week, entering the procurement period at the end of June, a few manufacturers started to make inquiries, but overall transactions remained sluggish.
